IGF was born from the cultural exchange of indigenous peoples with people from the city, who felt the need to contribute more actively. A multidisciplinary group was then formed to develop projects and actions that would produce effective results in protecting the environment and improving the living conditions of traditional peoples.

Below, learn about the areas of activity of this group: 


Development of projects to improve structural conditions and access to villages, both to facilitate meeting the basic health and education needs of indigenous peoples, and to meet their demand for structures that provide conditions for the development of local ethnotourism.

Indigenous Education 

Development of projects in the area of education, having as fundamental principles the concepts of differentiated teaching and living school, where the school is made, beyond the school environment, in all exchange of knowledge and learning experience inside and outside the villages.  

Financial autonomy

Encouraging eco-sustainable income generation practices in communities, according to the needs and potential of each people, the environmental characteristics of the areas they inhabit, with a view to improving the quality of life of these populations._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_

Support in situations 


Logistical support and articulation of networks for raising financial resources in emergency situations resulting from environmental disasters, individual or collective health problems, accidents or any other reason in which assistance to communities is urgent._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b- 136bad5cf58d_


Execution of reforestation projects and actions aimed at the environmental preservation of the Amazon, through the work of protection and recovery of local ecosystems.

Cultural exchange

Promoting the rescue and maintenance of culture, through the expansion of the channel of communication and collaboration between different peoples at the regional, national and global levels, encouraging the development of new projects that will promote the preservation of the cultural and environmental richness of forests.

Safeguarding biodiversity

Registration and dissemination

of Cultural Heritage

Carrying out projects aimed at researching, recording, documenting and disseminating the knowledge and traditions of indigenous peoples, with a view to perpetuating their ancestral knowledge, registering with the competent organizations and organizing the distribution of products from these projects, through streaming platforms, publications , videos, audios, exhibitions etc.
